my new favorite movie: Sparkle. A film set in Harlem in 1958 follows three sisters, Sister, Sparkle and Delores through the trials and tribulations of fame, drugs and fantastic leopard pants as seen in the video below. The wardrobe is glamorous and gritty. The music is by Curtis Mayfield so you know it's gonna be good. It's available on Netflix instant view and I highly recommend checking it out. enjoy.
