obsessed!! i stumbled upon this brilliant bag line, es n yaa, while looking through babel fair's facebook page. Es n yaa was started by a mother-daughter duo in April 2009 and is all about 100% African made fabrics and supporting Ghanaian families through their beautiful accessories. i am furiously researching where i can buy one of these for my upcoming summer trips!! and i won't stop until i find them.

the folks over at bird just posted this amazing shot...i want him! and gary looks way cuter on this rainy day than i did, i'm jealous. plus, my man shares the same name with this cutie pie. it only makes sense that i should have both!!

i adore bonnie cashin's illustrations and want to save my lunch money to buy like 10 and hang them on my wall. back in my high school days i worked at coach, where ms. cashin created coach's women's line and transformed the brand in 1962. there were some amazing bonnie cashin illustrations in the back room that i was tempted to steal every time i went to work.
