i'm getting excited for Water for Elephants simply because the costumes look amazing. i am a sucker for the era of finger waves, glittery leotards and rhinestones. Water for Elephants will be in theaters April 22nd.

I have had these boots sitting in my closet for about a year - unworn only because I was too lazy to bring them to the shoe repair for a zipper replacement. I finally got my derriere on the train and over to Hector's to finally solve the problem. The result, my new favorite boots.

Gretel is all grown up. And wearing Erdem's ballet inspired spring 2011 collection. I want the following: white lace layered upon white lace dress, Von-trapp girl jumper with black lace blouse and patchwork print skirt. love love.

I consider myself more of a dog person, but am really digging this Deyrolle Pour Opening Ceremony kitty cat dress. Yellow is my official color for Spring and this dress fits right in. I am about a foot shorter than this model so it won't really be that short on me, btw.

I've been watching cutie line WHIT for the past few months and am loving what I'm seeing. Debuting her first collection in Fall 2010 Whitney Pozgay's line is fresh, fun, and full of pieces I want in my closet now. Here are some of my favorites from her Spring 2011 collection. The bubblegum pink back drop and California girl meets Bridget Bardot styling has me smiling.

I am a child of the 90's, I'll admit it. And growing up in Seattle during that time definitely had me experiencing the best the 90's had to offer. Doc Martens black lace-up combat boots, Nirvana, 107.7 the end, Capitol Hill, car phones, Janet Jackson's that's the way love goes music video.
But the one thing that got me rarin' to go every August was the notion that I would soon be at Office Depot picking out the latest Lisa Frank binder to show off to all my friends. Lisa Frank is still around, and she's still saying the word, awesome.

Call me crazy, but I love a good kitchen gadget. And I have found that the names Le Creuset, Cast Iron and Kitchen Aid get me as excited as Prada, Pucci and Margiela.
Me and my roomate are hosting a Super Bowl party this Sunday and I'm off to my favorite kitchen store to buy a couple things to help the preparations. There's nothing like a new tool to get you in the mood.
